Our ambition is to offer a full range of safe and sustainable solutions, driving the global transition to a net-zero carbon economy. Over 95% of our raw materials are renewable and keep on searching for greener alternatives.

Raise the bar

Each year, our sustainability ratings are rising. Since 2023 we have achieved an EcoVadis gold medal representing top 2% of assessed companies. Ratings on our palm activities are increasing year after year, and our efforts in terms of energy reduction are visible in a raising CDP score.

Avril is a major agri-food group in France. The ambition is to become the leader in plant processing solutions for the food, agricultural and environmental transitions. Avril works on the development of the vegetable oil and protein sector. As a group, we reinvest all our results in the development of the sector.

Travel to our locations

Digitally, for now. Our offices and plants are spread across the world. The head office is located near Ghent (Belgium). We have two production sites in Belgium (Ertvelde and Oelegem), one in Germany (Emmerich), one in France (Compiègne), one in Malaysia (Port Klang), one in the USA (Conroe) and one in Brazil (Itupeva).
