Fabian and Malte are both Production Engineers at Oleon Emmerich in Germany. They studied process engineering together, did their internship at Oleon and started working at the same time. So yes, they’re obviously looking for the same thing in a job and have found it here.

Production engineers Malte & Fabian work in their element...

when optimizing processes.

Fabian: “We work closely together with operators at the plant. If we can optimize processes or implement technical improvements that help them to work more efficiently, it’s very rewarding.”

Malte: “I agree. I love doing projects where we work out everything from idea to implementation, it gives me a lot of energy.”

when getting freedom & flexibility as young professionals.

Malte: “Even though we are still quite young, we get a lot of freedom to do our thing and execute our own ideas. We feel trusted and supported to make a genuine impact on the company.”

Fabian: “We also get freedom in the sense that we have flexible hours, so we can come and leave as we want, as long as our work is done. We can also work from home but in my opinion it’s better to be at the plant, close to operations.”

in a relaxed atmosphere.

Malte: “Oleon Emmerich is a small plant. During our traineeship, we worked in every department, so everyone knows us and we’re very approachable. The different teams are easy to work with. Everyone wants to help and gets involved. Most of the time the atmosphere is relaxed, but if there is an urgent problem, everyone knows how to focus as well.”

Fabian: “Totally. It’s a good mix of work and fun. There is a relaxed atmosphere, and constructive collaboration. Since we are a small plant, the communication lines are short.”
